Cabaret teaser: Richa Chaddha moans, dances, screams and dances again

Are there even any more cabarets in this world? Apparently, there are enough for the Bhatt factory to make a movie about them. This time, they have recruited Kaustav Narayan Niyogi as the director for their upcoming movie called Cabaret, the teaser trailer for which was released on Friday.

Chaddha’s face enters the frame when 30 seconds of this 80-seconds video are already up. What was happening until then? Just the director making sure everyone knows what the movie is called:

We see Richa Chaddha come in like a wrecking ball, get trapped inside cages and touch some women inappropriately. There is not a single word of dialogue spoken and nothing much happens other than a lot of sex and slow motion dancing so we can’t really tell what the movie is about.

However, we do see her screaming in a scene with blood running down her face and a gun in her hand. Should it be safe to assume that maybe she gets attacked by someone at the beginning of the movie, kills him/her and that’s where her journey into the world of cabaret starts? We will go ahead and think like that.
