Good Samaritan Sonakshi Sinha does her bit for Nepal earthquake victims

It has been more than a year since the tragic Nepal earthquake claimed many lives and injured even more. While many victims were rehabilitated and received aid to rebuild their lives, several others are still in need of support.

“The earthquake damaged the lives of thousands in Nepal. But I knew in my heart that the country would rise from the ashes in no time... this will be my first time there, and I am glad that it is for such a great cause. I am excited to be part of this event.” says Sonakshi Sinha.(Jitu Savlani)

A source close to the actor says, “Sonakshi will perform at an event, organised by the Nepal Army Wives Association, to raise funds for the victims of the Nepal earthquake. She will leave for Kathmandu, Nepal, on May 14. Sonakshi wants to do whatever she can for the welfare of those who have been affected.”
