In pics: Preity Zinta visits Taj with Gene Goodenough, is spellbound
Bollywood’s dimpled girl Preity Zinta, who recently married businessman Gene Goodenough, was spotted spending some quality time with her hubby and in-laws at Taj Mahal, Agra. She took to Instagram to describe her experience.
Braving scorching heat, Bollywood actor Preity Zinta visited Taj Mahal with her husband Gene Goodenough and in-laws on Thursday morning. On a day when the temperature was well above 40 degree Celsius in Agra, Preity wrote on Instagram that she was spellbound by the monument’s beauty.
The Goodenoughs reached the Taj Mahal at 8.40 am in a golf cart through the eastern gate. The actor took to Instagram and wrote how special this outing was for her despite having shot at the Taj before.
Wearing a printed dress and a sun hat, the actor got into the queue, bought entry tickets and went through all the check points.
Preity played the guide to her husband Gene Goodenough and narrated him the love story of Shah Jahan and his queen Mumtaz for whom he got the monument made. The couple sat on the famous Diana seat to pose for shutterbugs. Adjusting her hat, she asked them, ‘Garmi nahi lagti kya?’ (Don’t you feel the heat).
She even commented she would not have worn ‘chappal’ if she knew so many photographers would be there to click her.
The owner of Kings Punjab XI, Preity refused to answer questions on the dismal performance of her team in the ongoing IPL matches.
Goodenoughs left Taj Mahal at about 10 am after spending more than an hour there. The family is here for a vacation and a wedding reception for the new couple in Mumbai on Friday.
