Delhi: Transport Nagar fire brought under control, no casualties

The fire which had engulfed a building in Delhi’s Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar on Wednesday morning has now been brought under control, after relentless efforts by as many as 15 fire tenders.

No casualties have been reported so far due to the inferno, which broke out at around 5.30am.

“Situation is under control, cooling operation going on,” fire officer Sunil Chaudhary told reporters.
The cause behind the blaze is yet to be ascertained, officials said.
