Watch IPL matches on big screen at Huda Park in Gurgaon

To give viewers the feel of a cricket stadium, the ground will be decorated like an IPL ground

The district cricket association is setting up a huge screen, measuring 32 by 18 feet, at Huda Park in Sector 5 for cricket lovers to watch IPL matches on Saturday and Sunday. There will be no fee for watching the match in the ground. Around 10,000 people are expected to turn up at the park.

To give viewers the feel of a stadium, the ground will be decorated like an IPL ground.

A number of other activities, including fun games, will also be organised at the ground for the audience. Food courts will also be set up.

On Saturday, cricket enthusiasts can watch the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rising Pune and the face-off between King XI Punjab and Delhi Daredevils.

On Sunday, a match between Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad will be telecasted at 4pm and the match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Gujarat Lions at 8pm.

The ground is being decorated for the big event. Arrangements are being made by the Board of Control for Cricket in India to telecast matches at public places in 34 cities in the country. The idea is to look beyond the big cities and create a fan base from districts, towns and rural areas.
