Teacher booked for thrashing students

A government school teacher from Lijwana Kala village has been booked for thrashing students of class VII and making them do sit-ups for not doing their homework, police sources said.

The girls were shifted to Julana community health centre from where they were discharged in the evening, he said.
On the complaint of the victims’ parents, a case was registered against the teacher and a probe initiated, the SHO added.
