School education minister Vasudev Devnani and RBSE chairman BL Chaudhary announced the results at a press conference in Ajmer.
A total of 248,441 students were registered, and 194,683 from science and 50,769 from commerce appeared for the Class 12 board examination. Pass percentage in the science stream was 88.53%, while in commerce it was 88.61%.
“The results of state schools have improved with a pass percentage increase of 6% in science and 5% in commerce,” said Devnani.
State-topper Saxena scored 488 marks out of 500, followed by Atul Kumar of Sri Ganganagar, who scored 487 to grab the second place in science.
In commerce, Naveen Kumar of Kuchaman city scored 484 marks (96.8%) and was adjudged the state topper. Kritika from Ajmer came in second with 478 marks.
