“We will stop sanctioning building layout plans for residential and industrial buildings manually from now. Those who want to construct a residential or industrial building in Greater Noida do not need to visit our office as they can complete all formalities online,” said Deepak Agarwal, chief executive officer (CEO), Greater Noida authority.

Residents can go to the authority’s website http://www.greaternoida.com/ to avail the services.

To begin with, the authority has started providing most of the services for the industrial department online. It will take a few more months to provide all services for the residential department online.

“We have started services like allotment, building layout map approval, occupancy certificate sanction, mortgage permission and other facilities for the industrial department on Friday. However, it will take a few months for us to allot residential plot online because we need to work on our software,” said Agarwal.

“Our portal has a set procedure to apply for building layout map. Once you fill the form it will be approved within 30 days. If the authority fails to approve it in 30 days it will be considered approved. The system is such that an applicant can monitor where the approval is struck. Staff at the authority will not be able to delay an approval now,” said Agarwal.
