On his first visit, the minister is expected to reveal Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath’s vision for development in Noida, Greater Noida and urban centres in the region.

Mahana is scheduled to reach Delhi-Noida-Delhi (DND) Flyway around 10am, where Noida MLA Pankaj Singh and Sharma, who is an MP from Gautam Budh Nagar, will give him a reception.

Subsequently, the minister will conduct an inspection of the city’s main roads, including Master Plan-I, Harola and Udyog Marg, before reaching the authority’s Sector 6 office, where he will administer the cleanliness pledge to the authority staff.

The CEO on Sunday reviewed preparations in the Sector 6 building.

“We will give a detailed presentation on mega infrastructure projects including the under-construction 4.8km elevated road, metro work, underpasses and under-construction bridge across the Yamuna. We will also tell about the budget of each project and the total expenses in the last year. We will give a presentation on the under-construction projects after he administers the pledge,” Agarwal said.

The health department staff has asked the sanitation employees to clean all restrooms in the Sector 6 office properly so that they do not face the minister’s ire. “The new minister can visit any room or restroom in the office. Therefore, the health department has tried its best to ensure proper cleanliness so that they do not face any disciplinary action,” a health department official said.

All government departments and offices in Noida and Greater Noida are being cleaned after the chief minister emphasised on cleanliness in government offices.
