100% results for most Patiala schools in CBSE Class 10

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 results declared on Saturday brought good news for most schools in the city, as it registered 100 per cent results.

Notably, most of the schools under CBSE in the district are private and highly reputed and always remain in the competition to outdo the others.

Meanwhile, like other parts of the country, Patiala girls also proved their mettle once again and outperformed boys in the results. In the district, the number of girls scoring 10 out of 10 CGPA is far ahead of the boys.

Looking at the figure school wise, Our Lady of Fatima Convent Secondary School, Patiala ranked on the top in the district, as 55 its students secured 10 CGPA. Besides, 17 got 9.8 CGPA, 13 got 9.6, 10 students secured 9.4, three secured 9.2 and three students got 9.0 (CGPA). St. Peters’ Academy, Patiala ranked second in the list as out of 108 students, who appeared in the exam, 54 secured 10 CGPA, while 16 students got 9.1 and above. Budha Dal Public School, Patiala ranked third in the list, as 45 students out of 322 who appeared in the examinations, secured 10 CGPA. As many as 112 students of the school managed to get 9 CGPA and above.

DAV, Bhupindra Road, students also came out with flying colours by giving an outstanding performance, as 42 of its students scored 10 CGPA. Out of the total of 221 students, 61 students scored 9 and above CGPA score in the results.

As many 29 out of 223 students of Guru Nanak Foundation (GNF) School who appeared in the exams, brought laurels to the school by scoring 10 CGPA.

Meanwhile, the dedication and hard work of Ryan International School bore fruits when 25 out of total 111 students, who appeared for the exams, achieved CGPA 10.

Meanwhile, 17 students of Narain Public School secured 10 CGPA. Similarly, 12 students of Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School excelled in the results by securing 10 CGPA.

A total of 72 students of Appolo Public School appeared for the Class-10 exams, and 12 students scored 10 CGPA. As many as 12 students of Kendriya Vidyalaya number 2 secured 10 CGPA, while seven students of Police DAV School, Patiala got 10 CGPA and 25 students scored 9 CGPA in the result. Six students of Scholar Fields Public School, Patiala showed brilliant performance and obtained 10 CGPA. Similarly, six students out of 51 of Blossoms Senior Secondary School, Patiala scored 10 CGPA. Four students of Modern Senior Secondary School, Patiala got 10 CGPA.

Schools from far areas shine as well

The schools from rural area were also not far behind in the list, as 23 students of The Paradise International School, Ghagga showed outstanding results and scored 10 CGPA.

As many as 21 students of Mata Gujri Senior Secondary School, Guthmara, near Devigarh town, secured 10 CGPA in the matriculation result declared by the CBSE.
