Even after a month, the police have failed to make any arrest in the murder case of Rajwinder Singh alias Ravi Khwajke, despite having important leads in the case and most of the accused identified.

Investigating in the case, police have got information about location of the key accused in the murder case Davinder Shooter alias Davinder Bambiha. The police got information that Bambiha was recently sighted in Haryana and border areas of Punjab. After the killing, his location was traced in Madhya Pradesh.

The police had even received important leads about other accused from Davinder Gugni and Karamveer Singh, who were in custody of Sadar police on production warrant. Meanwhile, in his Facebook posts, Davinder Bambiha had confessed that he had murdered Ravi Khwajke and would kill Ravi’s aides, if they went against him.

Sadar station house officer (SHO) Amandeep Singh Brar said, “The police have been raiding several places for arresting accused. Many teams have been dispatched to several places for their arrest.”

Davinder Shooter, along with others, had gunned down Ravi Khwajke at a marriage palace on Malerkotla road on February 20. The accused had pumped in at least 14 bullets into his body. The police had booked nine people in the case.
