The medical team led by head of pulmonary medicine, PGIMER D Behra has decided to keep him in the hospital till the infection goes away, the spokesman said.

“Meanwhile, the doctors expressed complete satisfaction on his recovery as the chest infection was also gradually decreasing,” the spokesman said.

Badal was admitted to a local hospital in Nawanshahar in Punjab after he had complained of chest congestion, four days back.

He was later shifted to PGIMER.
