Vetrivel trailer: Sasikumar tells an old story the boring way
Tamil actor Sasikumar’s Vetrivel’s trailer shows the same old tale of a carefree youngster turning into a man with a purpose when an unfortunate turn of events force him into the thick of action.
A small-town guy with no ambition whatsoever turns responsible when a sad or circumstantial turn of events force him into the thick of action. How often have we seen this on the silver screen? Looks like the new M Sasikumar starrer Vetrival too will weave a similar tale, if the nearly 1.5 minute trailer is anything to go by.
The trailer opens with Sasikumar doing nothing much but still terribly busy—where’s the time when your day’s spent wooing the pretty girl next door, singing and dancing at the village fair, ambling away time in paddy fields or bonding with a friend? Everything changes when he comes face to face with daddy dearest and unfortunate event forces our hero to take matters into his own hands. And, lo and behold, there’s nothing that can hold him back now. After that, all one sees are men being thrown around and lots of ‘dhishoom dhishoom’, popular cinema style.
