Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi’s Shaheer Sheikh to juggle TV, films and web series

Actor Shaheer Sheikh, who played Arjuna in popular TV show Mahabharat, will start shooting for his next Indonesian film besides acting in and producing a web series.

Actor Shaheer Sheikh is not only a popular face on Indian television but he also enjoys similar fame in the Indonesian film industry. The actor, who is busy playing the suave and rich Dev Dixit in daily soap Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, will start shooting for his next Indonesian project this month. Donning another feather in his cap, the actor plans to juggle his show and the film simultaneously.

“It’s a historical film that narrates the life of a warrior. The story is interesting and I’m looking forward to it. I plan to spend some days in India to shoot for my TV show and some days in Indonesia for the film,” says Shaheer.

As per reports, the film titled Maipa and Datu Museng, is an action-romance drama that narrates the love story of Maipa Deapati and Datu Museng that started in Galesong. According to history, Galesong was the navy centre of Gowa Kingdom, situated in South Sulawesi. Prod Shaheer further about the film and he says that he can’t discuss anything more about it right now.

Meanwhile, Shaheer also plans to produce and act in a web series. “I am drawn towards this new format of web series. If things go well, I might soon produce one such series. The genre that we are planning to explore is action comedy. But we are still working on it, so there’s still time for that. Till then, I plan to finish the work at hand,” he adds.
