A proud Amitabh Bachchan shares new pic of daughter Shweta, granddaughter Navya
Check out Amitabh Bachchan’s new picture of daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda and granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda.
Amitabh Bachchan on Monday shared a picture of his daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda and granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda posing together. “It’s Daughter & Daughter UNLIMITED .. the @mxsworld .. a very proud Father and Nana .. my love and blessings ever unlimited,” he captioned the picture on Twitter.
MSXWorld is a fashion label created by Monisha Jaising and Shweta Bachchan Nanda. Amitabh had shared another picture of the two of them earlier this month.
Both Shweta and Navya are wearing white outfits in the picture - Shweta in a ‘graffiti skirt’ and ‘silk camisole’ and Navya in a ‘flash tee’ and ‘bedazzled cargo pants’. Rohan Shrestha has been credited as the photographer.
Both Shweta and Navya have been making several public appearances lately. Shweta was involved in a bit of a controversy last month when she appeared in an advertisement with her father. The ad was billed as her acting debut and was criticised by members of the All India Bank Officers’ Confederation, an organisation claiming to have membership of around 3,20,000 officers, for being disrespectful towards the banking community. Kalyan Jewellers, the subject of the ad, later pulled it out of circulation.
In a blog post around that time, Shweta explained why she didn’t enter the film industry like the rest of her family. “Let’s just say I chickened out, learning very early on what being in the business meant for me, I chose to live away from its glitter and glamour. This was MY decision, not one thrust on me from any member of my family because of my gender,” she wrote.
Meanwhile, it has long been rumoured that Navya will be joining Bollywood soon. She made her grand debut at Le Bal, an annual showcase for children of celebrities, held in Paris.
