Alia Bhatt dances to Ghar More Pardesiya at the launch of new Kalank song First Class. Watch video

Alia Bhatt performed to her song Ghar More Pardesiya at the launch of Kalank’s second song, First Class, at the Gaiety Galaxy theatre in Mumbai on Friday.

Actor Alia Bhatt on Friday accompanied Varun Dhawan to the song launch event of their film Kalank. The new song from the film, titled First Class, was launched at the Gaiety Galaxy theatre in Mumbai in the presence of fans and the media. Alia put on an impromptu performance on her song Ghar More Pardesiya, also from Kalank, at the event.

The actor shared the video on her Instagram stories. Wearing in a black sharara, the actor can be seen recreating steps from the video that was released a few days ago. She captioned the video, “And of course VD made me perform.” Overjoyed with her live performance, Varun went on to lift her up in his arms soon after.

Alia can be seen dancing beside Madhuri Dixit in Ghar More Pardesiya, which also features Varun. The second song, First Class, shows Varun dancing alongside Kiara Advani. The video also shows glimpses of Alia and Aditya Roy Kapur’s character’s wedding.

Kalank has been directed by Abhishek Varman of 2 States fame. Varun plays Zafar in the film while Alia plays Roop and Madhuri plays a character named Bahaar Begum. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt and Sonakshi Sinha in prominent roles. It is scheduled to hit theatres on April 17.
