Sonakshi Sinha responds to troll who wants her to go on a hunger strike to reduce weight, says ‘I will punch you’

Actor Sonakshi Sinha recently appeared on Arbaaz Khan’s chat show Pinch and gave it back to the trolls who criticise her for her weight and her work.

After Kareena Kapoor and Karan Johar, host Arbaaz Khan had Sonakshi Sinha as his guest in the latest episode of his web show, Pinch. The actor took on several mean comments and responded to them in her own style.

Sonakshi confessed that she had lost 30 kgs before making her Bollywood debut, and how she initially used to get perturbed and responded to negative comments but takes them in her stride now.

On being shown several negative comments by the internet users about her weight, Sonakshi replied, “To hell with it. I will continue to be what I am.” She went on to say, “If you like me watch me, if you don’t like me then don’t watch me.”

On being asked about how she deals with online criticism, Sonakshi said, “We work really hard throughout the day. We don’t need this extra negativity. So that’s when I feel like, let’s not read the comments or go on Twitter. Let’s just concentrate on our work, be happy and lead a positive life. Block is my favourite button on social media,” she added.

In the episode, Sonakshi also revealed that it is the direct connect with her fans and the opportunity to share her work that keeps her glued to social media. Talking about her cellphone addiction, the actor also shared how she would prefer handing over her car keys than her phone. She also said that she has 16,547 pictures on her mobile phone and the majority of them are her own pictures. “I use my phone the least for talking. I use it for the internet and music,” she said while confessing that she does take her phone even to the bathroom.

She also shared tips on how to take the perfect selfie and if she could follow only one person, it would be none other than her Dabangg co-star Salman Khan. Talking about him, the Lootera actor said that once the actor introduced her by sharing a picture of her forehead and her toes and captioned it, “Sonakshi Sinha: Head to toe.”

On being shown a few memes made on her, the actor responded saying, “You cannot survive in this industry if you can’t take a joke on yourself.”
