Students from Galgotias University get over 1000 job offers in 15 days
Top employers included the likes of Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and TCS.
The campus placements at Galgotias University hit a record high this year. More than 1,000 jobs were offered within the first 15 days of the placement period.
About 71% of B.Tech students and 92% of MBA students received their job offers during the placement drive. The Computer Science/IT engineering stream saw the maximum number of placements at 90 %. Apart from this, 34% of the students at the university received multiple job offers.
More than 400 companies including Amazon, Samsung R&D, Flipkart, Ericsson, ICICI Bank, Future Group, Havells, LG Electronics, Ashok Leyland, and IndusInd Bank visited the campus during the placement season. The top employers were Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro and TCS.
About 90 % of students at the university were placed in sectors such as Logistics & Supply Chain Management, IT/ITeS, Law, Hotel Management, and Pharmacy.
Galgotias University has tie-ups with several corporate firms and MNCs.
