Delhi Capitals take on Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019 on Tuesday. Here’s the Delhi Capitals Predicted XI against Chennai Super Kings.
Rishabh Pant was the star of the match as Delhi Capitals started their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019 campaign with a win over Mumbai Indians in Mumbai on Sunday. The youngster slammed 78 off 27 balls to guide them to a big total of 213/6 and a disciplined performance from the bowlers clinched the game for the visitors.
The win also ended an unwanted streak for Delhi Capitals as it was the first time since 2012 that they won their first game of the tournament. In 2012, they defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by eight wickets.
Although Pant dominated the headlines, Shikhar Dhawan and Colin Ingram also played big roles in taking Delhi Capitals to a big score after losing early wickets. Dhawan made 43 while Ingram slammed 47 off 32 balls.

With the Capitals taking on Chennai Super Kings at home on Tuesday, it seems unlikely that they will be tweaking their winning combination. The pitch at Feroz Shah Kotla is historically spin-friendly and a lot of responsibility will be there on the shoulders of Rahul Tewatia and Axar Patel. Among the batters, they will be looking to continue their great run of form with contributions from skipper Shreyas Iyer and Prithvi Shaw who missed out in the last match.
