Shubham, a student of the Magadh Super-30 here, is not an isolated case to qualify for the premier entrance test of the country. All the 24 students out of 25 of the Magadh Super-30 with about similar background have scored higher and are now bracing up for the IIT.

At least 10 of the 24 students, including a girl student of the Magadh Super-30 have secured 95% and above percentile while eight others have been able to score 94 percentile. Six remaining students have however scored percentile between 89-90. The students here not only get free coaching but the Magadh Super-30 also arranges food and lodging for them and all free of cost. “Our main motto is for the society, by the society and of the society. Several benevolent citizens of the city society have been patronizing the coaching center started under the guidance of the former Bihar DGP Abhyanand,” coordinator of the institute pankaj Kumar said. Abhyanand has been a source of inspiration for the students who find in him their messiah to shape in the careers of those who can never dream of the berths in the IIT or the NIT, Shubham and other friends of his said.

The president of the Central Bihar Chamber of Commerce kaushalendra Pratap and his former predecessor Anup kedia expressed pleasure over the success of the institute and said that the efforts of the civil society have been yielding the desired results. “It was expected as we have been looking after the students right from the beginning of their career counseling here. The group study and the support of the senior and old students are the main reason behind the success”, Pratap, who has been instrumental in the operation of the institute said.

Shubham’s father Shiv Kumar Burnwal who was surprised over the success of his son said,” I had never dreamed of my son becoming an engineer. I was contemplating to engage him in my little business to earn more for the family. Thanks to Pankaj Jee of the Magadh Super-30 who once met me and asked me about the education of my children. When I expressed my inability to continue his education Pankaj jee came to me and asked me to spare my son for magadh Super-30. And the result is before you”.
