Chennaiyin FC vs ATK live updates: ATK beat Chennaiyin FC 3-1 to claim third ISL title. ATK took a 1-0 lead in the first half, courtesy a goal from Javier Hernandez with an assist from Roy Krishna. Krishna had to be substituted due to an injury, with Armando taking his spot. Chennaiyin FC were also forced to make a change. Chennai made a lot of shots on target but couldn’t get past goalkeeper Arindam Bhattarcharya. ATK extended their lead in the second half as Edu Garcia scores the crucial second goal in the 48th minute. Chennaiyin FC bounced back as Valskis scored in the 69th minute. But it was not enough to change the tide of the match as Hernandez added another goal in the dying minutes of the game.

21:23 hrs: ATK WIN ISL 2020! ATK beat Chennaiyin FC 3-1 to claim third title!

21:23 hrs:90+3’ GOAL! Hernandez gets a free shot on the target and he takes it easily. He started the show, and he finishes it in style. Goalkeeper had gone on a walkabout.

21:17 hrs: 88’ Yellow card! Edu Garcia broke out and was on the move and a nasty challenge from Sabria to take him down. Sabria gets booked.

21:12 hrs: CHANCE! Jonson sends one into the box to Valsky. He was between two defenders, but could not hit it straight to the goal.

21:05 hrs: 76’ Chennaiyin FC still keeping possession. A cross lands on Crivellaro’s feet, and he hits it straight to goalkeeper. No power in the shot, and that was an easy save.

20:58 hrs: 69’ GOAL! Chennaiyin FC are back in the game. Ac ross from Thapa, deflected back by ATK,lands in Valsky feet and he takes a right kick into the back of the net. ATK 2-1 Chennaiyin FC

20:55 hrs: 66’ ATK make a substiution. Regin has been sent back and Pronay comes back to his place. Good substitution. Regin was looking a little rough.

20:52 hrs: 61’ Chennaiyin FC keeping the pressure on ATK. They are roaming around ATK’s half, getting half chances. Don’t count them out just yet.

20:45 hrs: ATK defenders have been brave so far in the match. The players have put their bodies in between attackers and the ball and that hasn’t given Chennaiyin players any room to operate. They need a miracle if they want to make a comeback into the contest.

20:40 hrs: GOAL! ATK have scored for the second time tonight as Edu Garcia scores in the 48th minute. Williams sent Garcia away with a good pass and he hit the ball towards the left of the keeper. The ball hit the inside of the bar and went inside the goal. ATK edge closer to historic third title.

20:35 hrs: Back after the break! ATK kick off this time. They are leading. Chennai are playing the catch-up game at the moment.

20:20 hrs: Half-time! ATK lead the match 1-0 at half time with a goal from Javier Herndez. Both teams had to make one subtitutes. Still plenty to play for in the 2nd half.

20:18 hrs: 45+1’ An off-target header from Schembri in the dying minutes of the first half. Plenty of chances on offer from Chennaiyin, nothing come off it.

20:10 hrs: 38’ Substitute! ATK has to force Krishna out and Armado comes out in his place. Big blow to ATK.

20:01 hrs: 30’ SAVE! Free kick! A header from Schembri from Crivellaro’s free kick, and saved by ATK goalkeeper Arindam. WOW! He dived to his right to deflect it back. Brilliant effort.

19:58 hrs: 27’ SAVE! Nerijus Valskis takes a shot and the goalkeeper saves it by the gloves to put it back to his defence. OOH, that was close!

19:54 hrs: 23’ SHOT! Fantastic save! Krishna enters the box, takes a shot, saved by the goalkeeper, who deflected it to David. His hard-hit left-footed shot saved by Chennaiyin defender.

19:53 hrs: 22’ Substitution for Chennai - Germanpreet Singh is feeling the pain. He is replaced by Edwin Vanspaul

19:51 hrs: 20’ Chhangte gets a header away, but it goes wide. Harmless. Goalkeeper does not even have to make an effort to save that one.

19:50 hrs: 18’ Chennaiyin FC, on the backfoot, continue to show intent. Entering inside ATK’s half. But still, no goals so far.

19:41 hrs: 10’ GOAL! Javier Hernandez has scored the goal. A long pas set the move up. Javier receives the ball from a cross from Roy Krishna, and hits it straight into the nets. ATK 1-0 Chennaiyin FC.

19:38 hrs: 8’ NO PENALTY! ATK player tackled inside the box by two defenders from Chennai. He takes a fall, but the referee signals to a goal kick.

19:36 hrs: 6’ Hamid takes the freekick and it’s been well-defended by the Chennaiyin wall. Missed the chance to take the lead, ATK.

19:35 hrs: 3’ CHANCE! Shot on target from Chenniayin FC striker Valskis, he dribbled it past two defenders and took a clean shot. But it got reflected off the side bar.
