Lok Sabha Elections 2019: NCP leaves no stone unturned to campaign for Parth Pawar in Maval constituency
Sharad Pawar spoke to senior NCP corporators and members of legislative assembly (MLA) and other local leaders and has requested them to participate in campaigns for Parth, according to party workers.
PUNE The leaders of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and members of Pawar family have made Maval Lok Sabha constituency a prestige issue and are leaving no stone unturned to campaign for Parth Pawar, son of NCP leader Ajit Pawar. Parth is contesting from Maval Lok Sabha constituency.
Sharad Pawar spoke to senior NCP corporators and members of legislative assembly (MLA) and other local leaders and has requested them to participate in campaigns for Parth, according to party workers.
Ajit Pawar and his wife Sunetra are also participating in rallies in the constituency.
On Monday Parth meet sitting and ex-corporators in Maval and personally appealed to them to campaign for the upcoming elections, which is receiving a positive response from local leaders.
On the contrary, Shiv Sena is not able to resolve fight between BJP leaders in the Maval constituency. The leaders are yet to start campaigning for Shrirang Barne, Shiv Sena candidate.
Meanwhile, Sharad Pawar, NCP supremo himself had said that the Maval constituency is dominated by Shiv Sena and won by them two times. So, by considering this, NCP has fielded Parth to contest from this constituency.
