Singer, actor and producer Jennifer Lopez turns 49 on Tuesday and before you declare us big fat liars, we assure you that that number is actually true. Lopez is indeed just a year away from turning half a century old.

She is known for her ageless beauty, amazing voice, mind-blowing dance moves and impressive acting talent. JLo, as she is known all around the world, made her singing debut with 1999 album, On The 6. She also starred in hit 2001 movie, The Wedding Planner, which was also when she released her second album, J.Lo. She became the first woman ever to have the number one movie and number one music album in the same week.

She went on to stars in films like Maid in Manhattan, Monster-in-Law, Shall We Dance and more. However, her more memorable film is still 1997’s Selena which won her her first Golden Globe nomination.

Her hit songs include Jenny From The Block, On The Floor and Waiting For Tonight.

Jennifer has been married thrice, to Ojani Noa, Cris Judd and Marc Anthony. She has two kids from her marriage with Marc, son Maximilian and daughter Emme.

These days, Jennifer is seen as a judge on American Idol and as the owner of the one of the coolest celeb page on Instagram.
