Anderson, bidding to become the first South African to win the men’s title, had spent 21 hours on court to reach his first Wimbledon final and his tank appeared to be empty in the opening two sets as Djokovic dominated. (AFP)

Djokovic added the 2018 Wimbledon title to his wins in 2011, 2014 and 2015 as he became the lowest-ranked champion since Goran Ivanisevic in 2001. (REUTERS)

He will now look to win the US Open, starting in August. (Twitter )
