Mohanlal’s magnus opus Odiyan to release on October 11
Mohanlal’s much awaited film, Odiyan, will release on October 11, revealed stunt choreographer Peter Hein.

Odiyan is the most-awaited Mohanlal film in years. The star is expected to be seen in three different avatars in the movie, which has finally been given a release date. This film will also give audiences an idea of what to expect from his upcoming Rs 1000 crore project, Randamoozham, which will also be directed by Odiyan’s VA Shrikumar. The makers announced on Thursday that the film will release on October 11.
Peter Hein, the stunt choreographer who has worked on the film, tweeted about the release date. The Hindi dubbing rights for the film was reportedly sold for Rs 3.25 crore, which happens to be the highest ever for a Malayalam movie. The previous record was held by Mohanlal’s Villain, at Rs 3 crore.
Meanwhile, Randamoozham will begin rolling in July 2019. The pre-production work is currently in progress and the producer of the film, BR Shetty tweeted, “A lot of celebrated names in Indian cinema and world cinema will be seen along with Shri @Mohanlal . All pre-production work of the magnum opus is nearing completion. The project will be officially launched in a scintillating function very soon.Thank you for all the prayers!”
Mohanlal is also looking forward to the release of Kayamkulam Kochunni, in which the actor has done an extended cameo. He will be seen alongside Nivin Pauly in the film. He is currently shooting for director Prithviraj’s Lucifer and is also working on the biopic of Kunjali Marakkar with director Priyadarshan.
