Actor Nidhhi Agerwal is juggling two Telugu projects right now. And the fun part is that she’s doing these two films with two half-brothers: Telugu movie stars Naga Chaitanya and Akhil Akkineni, the sons of superstar Nagarjuna. While the film where Nidhhi is paired with Naga is called Savyasachi, her project with Akhil is yet untitled. The Munna Michael (2017) actor says that both the brothers are super-energetic and co-operative. In many ways, according to her, they are both similar and different.

Praising them, Nidhhi says, “So my film with Chaitanya is my second project. And I didn’t understand the Telugu language at all when we started shooting for the film. So he’d help me understand what was being discussed on the sets. He is a gem of a person, extremely talented and such a natural actor. Chaitanya is full of positivity, always encouraging and making sure that I’d feel comfortable from day one. Akhil also made sure that I’d enjoy my work. He has got a lot of energy and is very warm as a person.”

And how similar or different are they? “They have similar mannerisms, which is, of course, expected, given that they’ve grown up together. But as individuals, they’re different in more ways than one,” replies Nidhhi. “I’m also aware of the jokes and memes around me working with two brothers, because I get tagged on Instagram and Twitter. These are really funny.”

About the films, Niddhi shares that she has almost finished shooting for Savyasachi, with only a song left to be shot. The untitled film is still under way, with the first half shot in London and the other half to be filmed in Hyderabad. Both are expected to hit the theatres this year. Thanks to her films, Niddhi had now become comfortable with Telugu and adds that she’s ready to explore more interesting projects in Telugu cinema.
