Jhansi, considered the jewel of Bundelkhand and renowned for Rani Laxmi Bai’s fort, has secured more than half of the projects. MoUs worth ₹837 crore will be signed exclusively for the city.

Under the scheme, a solar fence with a current flow of only 12 volts will be installed to protect crops from animals. The solar fence will give a mild shock to animals, causing no harm to them but keeping them away from the crops.
Besides setting up the Purvanchal Vikas Samiti and Bundelkhand Vikas Samiti, both chaired by chief minister Yogi Adityanath, the state government has undertaken several projects for the development of the two regions.
