After receiving India’s first Rafale jet, Rajnath takes off for sortie

It was ‘textbook landing’: Sources on naval LCA Tejas DRDO testing

The first naval prototype (NP-1) of the Naval LCA -- a twin-seater -- made a “successful landing” on a 90-metre stretch after being flown by a pilot for about 40 minutes, they said.

HAL union threatens strike after wage hike talks with management fails

Employees are “disappointed and dejected” with offers made by the management, said Suryadev Chandrashekhar, general secretary of the committee.

Long-awaited indigenous light combat aircraft Tejas Mk II targeted by 2022

Sanctioned by the government in 2009, the Mk II will be equipped with state-of-the-art AESA radar with the indigenously developed air-to-air missile Astra, which has a range of 70km. The beyond visual range missile is currently being tested on the IAF’s Su-30 MKI fighters.
