Rare footage of Pandit Ravi Shankar has been unveiled to the mark the 100th birth anniversary of sitar maestro Ravi Shankar.

To commemorate his centenary year, a series of ‘Ravi Shankar Centennial Concerts’ was planned featuring his daughters Norah Jones and Anoushka Shankar. However, the tour was cancelled indefinitely due to the spread of the coronavirus.

‘Not fair to single out Tablighi Jamaat for Covid-19 spread’: Jagan Reddy

The chief minister, in a televised appeal to the people on Saturday evening, said it was not correct to pin the blame on a particular religious congregation for the spread of Covid-19 in the country, as same could happen even in any such meeting in any other religious congregation.

Loco pilot hurt after man hurls stone at moving train in Ludhiana

A senior assistant loco pilot suffered a severe injury on his face after a miscreant pelted a stone at a running train near the Sidhwan Bridge on the Dhuri railway line here on Sunday evening. The Railway Protection Force (RPF), Ambala division, has registered a case under Section 153 (endangering safety of persons travelling by railway by wilful act or omission) of the Railway Act against an unidentified person.
