Two more workers injured in a boiler blast at a spare parts manufacturing unit in Rewari’s Dharuhera last week, succumbed to burn injuries on Friday, taking the toll to 10. Two workers died on Thursday night and one in the evening. They were admitted to the Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS) here.
Around 40 workers suffered burn injuries in the blast at the manufacturing facility in the Dharuhera industrial area on Saturday (March 16), the police said. The blast occurred at a manufacturing unit named Life Long Company in Dharuhera.
Eight persons were killed in two separate road mishaps in the last 24 hours in Rewari and Rohtak districts, said police. In the first incident, six persons were killed and as many were injured when a car was hit by an SUV near Masani village in Rewari late Sunday night.
