BSP’s Rajya Sabha MP Satish Chandra Mishra said in the Upper House: “Our party gives complete support. We want that the Bill be passed. Our party is not expressing any opposition to Article 370 Bill and the other Bill.”
Jharkhand state president of SP-cum-Dhanbad candidate Meraj Khan said since party is contesting on lone Dhanbad LS seat, top leaders including national president would come and campaign for him.
The Dalit group’s founder also said the Bhim Army will support the SP-BSP alliance if it fields Satish Chandra Mishra, Mayawati’s general secretary and Brahmin face of the BSP, from the Varanasi seat. Earlier, the Bhim Army chief had accused Mishra of misleading Mayawati and conspiring against the Dalit group.
BSP general secretary Satish Chandra Mishra had called for immediate intervention by the Election Commission after alleging that BSP voters, especially Dalits, were being stopped from reaching polling booths.
Uttar Pradesh MLA Sadhana Singh is “mentally ill”, said BSP leader Satish Chandra Mishra, after the MLA from Mughalsarai called Mayawati “a person worse than a eunuch”.
