It is one holiday destination where you will never tire of the beautiful beaches. Warm sand, blue water and some of the most impressive places in the middle of nowhere, some of these Goa hot spots are otherworldly.

Goa’s monsoon season runs from June and August. But the rainfall in Goa starts in late May and goes on till September. Goa is on the Konkan coast, so the rain is heavy. Thunderstorms are not uncommon either. So, it is worth paying the higher prices and sticking to the dry season — there’s not much to do on rainy days except drink, chill near a water body, or cut off from the world at a beach property. Then again, that doesn’t sound so bad.

Vagator Beach, located 22 km from Panaji, is a captivating arc of sand.

Ozran Beach is also known as Little Vagator and is situated in north Goa.

Lined with palm trees and colourful wooden shacks, Palolem Beach faces Canacona Island.

Betul Beach is located south of Mobor Beach across the Sal river, and is basically a fishing hamlet with a picturesque view and a secluded atmosphere.

Palolem Beach is situated in south Goa (more than 70 km from Panaji). This white sand beach is known for fishing.

Butterfly Beach is located on Butterfly Island in south Goa, just 6 km north of Palolem beach.

Mobor Beach is one of the nicest and cleanest beaches in south Goa.

Cabo de Rama Beach, also known among locals as Cab de Ram, is a beautiful, wild beach in the south of Goa.
