Kapil Sharma, who was spotted at the Mumbai airport on Tuesday as he returned from a holiday, looked a under the weather.

Kapil Sharma returned to Mumbai on Tuesday night after being away for many weeks. The controversial comedian looked under the weather but his pet, an adorable furry dog, managed to bring a smile to Kapil’s face. The actor had left India days after his Twitter meltdown that ended with him filing cases against a journalist and his former producer Preeti Simoes.

Kapil had made a brief appearance on Twitter a few days back when he had accepted that he had put on weight but was on his way to make “positive changes” to his lifestyle. He had also promised he would return on the screens soon.

On Tuesday night, Kapil was seen wearing a track suit with a white tee, as he posed for photos with his pet.

Loved by many and an undisputed star on Indian TV till an unfortunate mid-air fight with fellow comedian Sunil Grover took sheen off him, Kapil had been on a dream success ride. However, he has been plagued by rumours of depression, alcohol addiction and unprofessional behaviour in the past.

Kapil’s cup of misery really began after he fought with Sunil Grover, on board a flight from Australia to Mumbai in March last year. Post that, many of his trust lieutenants quit his show. Reeling under the shock, reports of him cancelling shows of his very popular show, The Kapil Sharma Show, began doing the rounds. The channel had to eventually take the show off air in July.

In April this year, Kapil returned to the small screen with a new show titled, Family Time With Kapil Sharma. The launch of the show was accompanied by news of cancelled shoots. Sources said that Kapil cancelled shoot with Rani Mukerji at the last minute. The new show, too, was soon cancelled after three episodes.
