India's External Affairs Minister, S. Jaishankar, and United States' Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, addressed the press after their meeting in New Delhi. The two revealed the issues that were discussed in the meeting - from trade, to terrorism, defence purchases and geopolitical situations. Referring to the ongoing trade tension between the two nations, Jaishankar said that it's impossible to not have trade issues with one's biggest trading partner. Pompeo also said that great friends are bound to have differences. The visit is being seen as a primer for the bilateral meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the upcoming G20 summit in Japan.
