Facing protests, Karnataka CM threatens, says demonstrators voted for BJP

Workers of a thermal power plant on Wednesday protested before Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy's cavalcade in Raichur. He asked the demonstrators why they approached him with their problems when they had voted for BJP in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls. The workers of Yermarus Thermal Power Station protested over wages and other issues. Kumaraswamy was on his way to Karegudda in Manvi Taluk of Raichur district, on the second leg of his village visit programme.
