England’s premier paceman James Anderson created history at the Oval on Tuesday as he went past Australian great Glenn Mcgrath to become the most successful fast bowler in the history of Test cricket. Anderson dismissed Mohammed Shami to pick up his 564th Test wicket and thus went past McGrath’s mark of 563 wickets. Anderson, who had earlier become the first English bowler to pick 400 Test wickets and subsequently went past the 500 scalps mark too, has taken 19 Test matches more than the Australian to breach his mark (HT Correspondent)
